Ginger-Honey Glazed Oyster Mushrooms

Vegetarian!

Ingredients
5 large Oyster Mushrooms (sliced 1.5 inches thick)
Salt & pepper to taste
1 tablespoon Grated ginger
3 cloves Garlic (grated)
2 1/2 tablespoons Honey
3 1/2 Soy sauce
1/2 teaspoon Black pepper
Oil for cooking
Sliced green onions for garnish
Sesame seeds for garnish

Step by Step Instructions
  1. Slice the mushrooms into 1.5 inch thick coins and score them with a small knife in a grid pattern on both sides.
  2. Season the mushrooms with salt & pepper to preference.
  3. Mix the grated ginger, grated garlic, honey, soy sauce, and pepper together in a bowl.
  4. In a pan, drizzle the mushroom coins with oil and heat the pan to medium-high. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes on each side.
  5. Drizzle the coins with the prepared sauce and let them simmer over high heat for 2 to 3 more minutes.
  6. Serve garnished with sesame seeds and sliced green onions.
